Lute FP They tag themselves as punk, but I really hear alternative hard rock with an 80s punk flavor, maybe like the Clash’s London Calling as an example, but not a comparison. Regardless, this is killer music out of Iceland, with a lot of variety in the songwriting.

Evidently born in the early 80s as a new-wave/punk band, they reformed in the aughts and put out three albums, two of which are available on BC. The early stuff isn’t as much my cup of tea, but I am seriously digging their later offerings.
